Achieve information, decision-making and impact superiority

Companies and public institutions have one thing in common: they want to be successful in what they do. Higher profits, safer streets or prevented attacks - success can be defined very differently from institution to institution. No matter how you define success, it usually depends on two factors. Factor one is your own actions and factor two is the actions of other actors. It doesn't matter whether other actors are competitors in the marketplace, organized crime, or adversaries in military conflicts.

To be successful, it is necessary to have a faster or better impact than competitors or enemies. It does not matter whether the effect is in the information space, through an earlier product launch or a stronger presence in a particular place. However, in order to establish superiority in terms of impact, I first have to make better decisions than my antagonists. The prerequisites for this are structured and low-bias decisions and an adequate information base. This includes information about one's own institution and, of course, information about other relevant actors. The goal is thus to ensure information superiority as a prerequisite for decision superiority. In order to approach the goal of information superiority, companies employ analysts in various fields of activity. These analysts have to meet a wide range of requirements in order to fulfill their missionof insuring information superiority.“ erfüllen zu können.

Creativity, critical thinking and the ability to create truly relevant products are examples of the requirements that must be met by analysts. In order to meet these requirements, your experts need a sound education and training.

On your way to making the most of your analysts and their supervisors, we support you with targeted training, practical workshops and personal guidance. Together, we can lay the foundation for good decisions and thus create the conditions for your success.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

Analytical training improves the ability to process complex data in a structured and thorough manner. Particularly in a corporate context, such as in corporate security, OSINT or in the area of foresight, they offer clear added value: better decisions, more efficient analyses and fewer cognitive biases. Analytical training thus helps you to turn data into valuable insights and to sustainably improve the quality of your decisions.

Selecting the appropriate training depends on your specific needs or the needs of your organization. You can choose from a variety of formats, from fundamental Intelligence Trainings to customized workshops. For teams or groups, in-house training tailored to your industry and analysis needs is recommended. We are happy to help you find the training format that is right for you.

The exact number of participants is determined individually and depends on the training requirements. In general, in-house training courses are suitable for a group of at least three and a maximum of 15 participants. For exact details on group size, please feel free to contact us directly.

It's a good idea to plan a few months in advance to ensure the availability of the trainer and the necessary resources. If you're lucky, an available time slot can be found at short notice, but an early request guarantees you greater flexibility in choosing the appointment.

The trainings use a mixture of theoretical content and practical exercises. In-house training and workshops in particular promote personal exchange in order to apply what has been learned directly to organization-specific issues. In addition, a whole range of different Structured Analytic Techniques (SATs) are used, which are customized for real projects, as well as interactive elements such as group work and case studies.

ONLY INVESTED IN TECHNOLOGY, BUT NOT IN PERSONNEL?

Together with director Björn Lingner, we have created the first commercial for appropriate training of analysis personnel. We are very pleased with the result. The core message of the commercial is that companies and public institutions should not only invest in the technical possibilities in the area of collection and IT systems, but also and especially in their personnel if they want to achieve truly relevant results in the end.
